Cat Killed by Pellet Gun (Nov 2019)
Special Reward of up to $2,500!
IDAHO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Police say a pet cat died after being shot with a pellet gun in Idaho Springs on Saturday.
For some residents there, Felix the cat was synonymous with the town.
"He was a black cat," says resident Jim Clark, with a smile. “He used to pester the neighbors’ dogs.”
“Hopefully somebody will come forward,” says longtime resident Kate Foi. “A family is missing a pet and missing a family member.”
Metro Denver Crime Stoppers are offering a special reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to the killer. $500 of that money comes from Idaho Springs police.
Special Rewards are valid for up to 6 months from the date of posting.
Anyone with information can call them at 720-913-STOP (7867). You can remain anonymous.
