David Wayne Jones (Feb 1991)
On February 22, 1991, Aurora Police responded to a suspicious person call near a home on the 1700 block of Ceylon Street. Upon arrival police found the victim suffering from a lacerated throat. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was put on life support, but later died from his injuries on March 2, 1991.
David Jones was only 31 years old when he died. After graduating from Aurora Central High School in 1978, he got married and had two children. David was a family man. He was always documenting events, holidays, and important milestones in his children’s lives with his video camera. He loved video games, his 1978 Kawasaki 1000 motorcycle, and working on cars with his buddies. He worked hard, driving a truck for Waste Management and he owned a 99 cent video store at Chambers and Mexico.

“His Parents Vernon and Theresa, His kids Christoper and Samantha, Brothers Vernon and Randy, Sisters Terry and Darlene and all of his nieces nephews and the rest of his family and friends have been waiting 29 years for answers. If you have ANY information no matter how insignificant you think it may be, please on behalf of the entire Jones family, come forward.”
