    Here’s How it Works:

    You remain anonymous no matter what.

    1. When you anonymously submit information on an unsolved crime or individual wanted by law enforcement by calling or via the ONLINE or through our APP, a Code number is issued to you the caller.
    2. The information is anonymously shared with law enforcement.
    3. At the conclusion of the investigation law enforcement will notify MDCS.
    4. The MDCS Awards Committee will review the information provided by the tipster  and law enforcement and for information that leads to an arrest an award amount will be determined.
    5. MDCS will inform the tipster that they are entitled to monetary award.
    6. MDCS authorizes our bank to release the award money to you.
    7. You, the Tipster, can then pick up the award money from our bank using the code numbers given to you for identification.

    HammondWho murdered Richard “Gene” Hammond? Mr. Hammond was a retired Marine Major, father, and grandfather. Please help bring justice to Mr. Hammond and his family.

    On Valentine’s Day morning (Tuesday, February 14, 2017) between 3:30 and 4:00 a.m., 63-year-old Richard “Gene” Hammond left his home near Bruce Randolph & York St for work in Fountain, CO.



    Hammond2He was driving his 2012 Subaru Impreza sedan.   Mr. Hammond never arrived at work.  He and the vehicle were discovered less than a half-mile from his house.  Mr. Hammond was deceased, which was later discovered to be the result of a gunshot wound.


    If you have any information regarding Mr. Hammond, or recall seeing a similar Subaru around Bruce Randolph & York St in northeast Denver at about 4:00 a.m. on Valentine’s Day morning, please contact Crime Stoppers immediately.
